Register to Race
The Round Up Mini Bike Races are Friday and Saturday in the dirt track oval in the livestock arena. Racetime is around 2pm both days.
Anyone over 18 can register to race by signing the safety waiver... sign the waiver, get your number bib to pin on your back, which gets you access on to the track.
Registration is free and starts 30-45 minutes before race time on both Friday and Saturday. If you register on Friday, then you're good to race on Saturday, too.
Qualified Racers Need a helmet, long pants, long sleeves, & gloves.
Traditional pull-start minibikes only... no kick-start transmission bikes.
How the Races Work
Four racers per race, 5 laps... you pick the folks you want to line up against.
Each time you win a race, you get a 'Winner' stamp on your bib... red on Friday, blue on Saturday.
By the end of the races Saturday afternoon, most guys have at least one stamp... some have up to 10!
All funsies for bragging rights... no heats, finals, or champions.
IMPORTANT: Mini bikes are to the ridden while racing and on the track only - for safety reasons, YOU CANNOT RIDE your mini bike anywhere else on the grounds of the show - there are lots of pedestrians and cars to look out for. Thanks for your cooperation, so we can continue this part of the show, and remind others if you see them.
